A Brief Introduction of Hong Ruisheng

Born in Jinjiang, Fujian.

Titles:

Member of Chinese Artists Association

Director of Fujian Artist's Association

Standing director of Fujian Art Education Research Association

Vice-chairman of Fujian Artists Association

His teachers are Wu Zuoren, Ai Zhongxin, Wei Qimei, Dai Ze, Hou Yimin, Qin Shangyi, Zhan Jianjun, Qin Zhilin, etc.

He has contributed into oil painting, teaching and academic research for 54 years. His oil painting is endowed with the artistic meaning and the loving to Fujian , which is full with the tradition and the creation. Owing to his character, he has his own unique feeling toward the art. And his painting is very infectious for his unconventionality. Professor Hong Ruisheng is a famous Chinese painter with profound artistic attainments, academic cultivation and rich  experience in teaching.

Art experience:

Born in 1940 in Xiamen Gulangyu island.

In 1959 he was admitted to Beijing central academy of fine arts oil painting department.

In 1964, he graduated from oil painting department of the central academy of fine arts.

From 1978 to 1984, he taught at arts and crafts school in fujian province.

In 1980 oil painting "South Putuo Temple”was selected into East China Oil Painting Exhibition Still Life Scenery Fair.

In 1983 oil painting "The Home of the Masonry" was selected into The National Overseas Chinese Hometown Style Show.

From 1985 to 1993 he was the first head of the department.

In 1987 oil painting "Morning Makeup" was selected into "The 1st China Oil Painting Exhibition".

In 1989 “Colorful Bazaar” was selected in the 7th National Art Exhibition.

In 1992, solo exhibitions was held in Taiwan. Oil painting “Warm Air”was selected into the 92· Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition.

In 1994 "Dai Restaurant" was selected in the 8th National Art Exhibition.

In 1995 the second solo oil painting exhibition was held in kaohsiung Art Center.

In 1997 "The Chrysanthemum and Still Life" was selected into the 2nd China Still Life Oil Painting Exhibition.

1999 oil painting "room" to be included in the "celebration of Macao's return to the motherland China art exhibition".

In September, 2004 - December 2005 “The Glory - In February 1662, Zheng Chenggong Viewing The Dutch Settlers Out Of Taiwan's Hot Orchid Covering City”was created for commemorating Zheng Chenggong.

In 2008 "Drinking Vessel and Fruit" was selected in Chinese Oil Painting Works Exhibition.

In 2010 “ The Red of Minnan---Hong Ruisheng’s Oil Painting Exhibition” was held in Xiamen.

His sketch works were selected in "The Central Academy of Fine Arts Sketch the National Exhibition of 60 Years".

Oil painting “Spring and Autumn” was selected into "The Human and the Nature Harmonious Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition".

Oil painting "The Harmony"and "Lacquer Ware and Fruit" was selected into"Chinese Contemporary Art Exhibition"hosted by China Federation of Literary Artist .

In 2012 "High Tide"was selected into the large Chinese Oil Painting Invitational Exhibition.

In November 2011 to December 2012, "The Last War - SISINGAMANGARAJA Assist Led People In Dutch Settlers"was created for Indonesia's West Sumatra Museum of large.
